ＡＥ８６へ５バルブエンジンをスワップする際にデスビとヒーターコアの干渉を防ぐ形状にした専用設計品です。

ＡＥ８６へ５バルブ４ＡＧエンジンを搭載する際、エンジン後方に位置するデスビカバーを用いますが、その際にノーマルヒーターコアだとコア（ヒーターホース）とデスビのクリアランスがきつく結果としてミッションスペーサーを用い、エンジンを前方へ傾斜させてしまう方法が主流です。
しかし、このようなミッションスペーサーを用いると、エキマニ、触媒、マフラーなどがボディと干渉するなど様々な弊害が起こります。
このオリジナルヒーターコアへ交換すれば、干渉を防ぐことができ、（オリジナルデスビカバーと併用を推奨）ヒーターホースのレイアウトは、特に水回りキットを選びません。
他社製水回りキットも使用可能です。

デストリビューターはエンジンの回転信号を測定する、非常に重要なセンサーです。
このデスビを移動させ、回転方向を逆にしてしまうと、ピックアップ波形に異常をきたす恐れがあり、特にフルコンヘ変更した場合はデスビが原因で様々なトラブルを引き起こす恐れがあります。

When mounting a 5-valve 4AG engine on the AE86, a distributor cover located behind the engine is used.
At that time, if it is a normal heater core, the clearance between the core (heater hose) and the distributor becomes tight, as a result, the mainstream method is to tilt the engine forward using the mission spacer .
However, using such a mission spacer causes various harmful effects such as the exhaust manifold, catalyst, muffler, etc. interfering with the body.
If replacing it to this original heater core, it can prevent interference (recommended to use with the original distributor cover), and the layout of the heater hose does not particularly choose the water supply kit.
Water supply kits made by other companies can also be used.

The distributor is a very important sensor that measures the rotation signal of the engine.
If this distributor is moved and reversed the direction of rotation , there is a risk of causing an abnormality in the pickup waveform.
Especially when changing to full control, there is a risk of causing various troubles due to the distributor.
Please be careful when swapping the 5-valve engine.
